OMAR BARRETT
Omar Barrett started singing at church services, rallies, conventions and crusades at the age of 18 years. He lives at Cudjoe Hill District in St. Catherine and worships at Seventh Day Church of God, Cornerstone Ministries.
His musical career started with the Surety Gospel Band. Encouraged by band members, church members and leaders, he has continued to use his talent to lead souls to Christ.
Omar’s main goal is to put God first, and so be a light that others can see God’s good works come to glorify Him.

NOLAN BROWN
Nolan Brown and Abba Jones along with Joel Brown make up the group ‘Komplete’. Komplete came together to spread the gospel through their music.
The group sees the competition as a great opportunity to showcase their talent as songwriters and singers.
Komplete hails from Hendon, Norwood, St. James.

ORALE JOHNSON
By the age of seven Orale was already writing his own songs; at nine he was playing the piano and also an active member of the Villa Road All Age School Choir.
Over subsequent years his musical career continued to develop and in 2003 he was a Gold Medallist in the National Festival of the Performing Arts. He was born in Manchester and worships at the Cedar Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church where he has served as a youth choir director and pianist.
He enjoys writing songs, playing the piano and singing in his leisure time and aspires to become an internationally acclaimed singer and producer.
Orale’s philosophy is grounded in the belief “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”.

JOYCELYN PEART-LAWSON
Joycelyn Peart-Lawson began singing at the age of five; her music ministry has continued and in 2004 along with her husband, she launched the True Worshippers Ministry.
She is actively involved in ministry at her Church, where she serves as a member of the choir and praise and worship team. She has performed at crusades, conventions, weddings and funerals.
Joycelyn resides at St. John’s Road, St. Catherine and worships at the Church of God of Prophecy.
Jocelyn aims through her ministry to assist the development of individuals and churches in becoming true worshippers.

ST. JAGO INSPIRATIONS (Kevon Barnes, Christopher Martin, Howard Phillips)
The group’s name evolved from the spiritual rejuvenation and growth in faith experienced by a member of the group.
The St. Jago Inspirations is comprised of six (6) young persons who attended the St. Jago High School. The group conducted their music ministry through performances within their school and church audiences.
Group members have been gold medalists in music in the annual National Festival of the Performing Arts.
The St. Jago Inspirations have as their focus, bringing a message of hope and redemption to young persons through their music.

LEROY 'SONGBIRD' RICHARDS
Leroy Richards, ‘Songbird’ began his musical career in the 1980’s. For many years his music ministry has inspired people wherever he has performed.
Leroy hails from the parish of St. Catherine and worships at the Pentecostal Tabernacle Wildman Street.
His entry in this year’s Grace Tropical Rhythms Gospel Festival 2005 is “Give Thanks”, which he sees as a means of communicating with the Lord for our troubled society.

N'VOY
(Tenesha Bonner, Nadine Miller, Nicola Mitchell)
N’voy was birthed out of a common vision to share the message of truth through singing. These three young ladies: Tenesha, Nadine and Nicola have been traveling around the island of Jamaica as highly acclaimed singers.
N’voy was created through the melding of three hearts and years of hard work, making the group a success; their common goal is to be servants of the Lord.
These girls have used their melodious voice to capture the hearts of many performing on a wide scale throughout Jamaica on various events such as:
- The Prime Minister’s Birthday Ceremony
- Love 101 2002 Anniversary Fun Fare
- Back to Basics
- Gospel in Motion Genesis
- JCDC Gospel Festival; to name a few
N’voy has also done background vocals for artistes like:
Joan Flemmings, Radic, Shelly Ann Watson, Ziggy Soul, etc.
They shared stage with numerous local and international artistes; some of the local artistes include Papa San, Carlene Davis, Junior Tucker and Stitchie and the list goes on. Some international artistes include Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Toby Mac, Donnie M cClurkin, Yolanda Adams, etc.
The group’s aim is to deliver a timeless, musical message with creativity, sensitivity and power throughout the world.

CLARENCE 'JOSEPH' SCOTT
His ministry began in 1999 as he survived a personal tragedy. Since then Clarence Scott has recorded four (4) albums and produced theme songs for the West Indies Union of Seventh Day Adventists.
One of his songs “Transformed in Christ” was written for the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists in the United States of America.
Clarence Scott ‘Joseph’ has shared stage with international recordings artistes Alvin Slaughter, Candy Staton, the Tallies and Accapella. He is from Farm Heights Montego Bay and a member of the Montego Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Clarence was called to be a witness and has pledged to remain, by God’s Grace.

WINSTON BELL
He is more popularly known for his acting talent, but Winston Bell has proven that he can be just as good as a songwriter, musician or singer. He just released his debut album “Praying for you” for which he laid all the musical tracks and, along with his wife, Joy, did the entire vocal work.
Winston resides in Red Hills, St. Andrew and worships at the Time Out for Jesus Ministries Church.
Winston Bell has been a recording artist since 1976, while still in high school, but his acting career got the better of his singing career after he was accepted for full time classes at the then Jamaica School of Drama at the Cultural Training Centre, now the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
A self-taught musician, Winston plays the rhythm guitar, the bass guitar, the keyboard, the trap-set and the Congo drums.

SASHOI HINDS
Sashoi Hinds started singing at age four, twenty years later she is still carrying out her gospel ministry.
Sashoi has been a medallist in the area of music in the National Festival of the Performing Arts.
Currently a member of the Praise Choir, she is the founder and leader of the Hope Singers.
Sashoi is from Montego Bay, St. James and worships at the Hopewell United Pentecostal Church.
In addition to pursuing her career as a teacher, she works with different groups and church choirs, assisting in their development.

HORATIO HINDS
His musicalcareer began in 1999 when he started singing in church. This talent has continued to grow and has further inspired him to start writing his own songs, to reach the hearts and minds of people.
Horatio Hinds tried his hand at many different trades, but his goal in life is to be one of Jamaica’s top Gospel artistes.
Horatio was born in Spanish Town, St. Catherine and is a member of the Jones Avenue Seventh – day Adventist Church.

BUNNY ANDERSON & WEEPING PROPHET
Leroy ‘Bunny’ Anderson and Rowan ‘Weeping Prophet’ Haughton describe themselves as humble, but jovial and friendly.
The duo’s goal is to evangelize to the less fortunate saturating Jamaica, the Caribbean and the western world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Bunny was awarded the Jamaica Music Awards (JAMI) for Best Male Vocalist/Soloist and Best Gospel Recording 1995 – 1996.
They hail from Savannah and Top Hill Districts in Clarendon and worship at the Mt. Zion Seventh – day and New Testament Church of God.
The duo has been performing together for four (4) years and has shared stage with local and international artistes. Some of their recordings include“Come By Here” and“Thank You Lord”.
