The JCDC announces the formation of The Friends of the JCDC, a group of concerned artistes, who will plan fund-raising events to assist the JCDC in financing its budget. The JCDC needs approximately $30 million to implement its cultural programmes throughout the festival season. Board member, Guila Bernal is to head this committee. |
