The Competition is opened to children between the ages 6 - 15 years in the following categories:
i. Soloists
ii. Ensembles (2 - 10 voices)
iii. Choirs (11 - 20 voices).

The JCDC seeks to target writers and composers of children songs. This should see the entry of original material in the Competition.
